I've heard of a Christmas miracle before, but this is ridiculous. A Largo, Florida woman named Miracle Rivera, spent her Christmas Eve behind bars after whooping somebody with a Christmas tree.
According to FOX35, Rivera and her victim went to battle after a not-so-merry verbal fight. I can remember when I was a kid my sister and I might have argued over who got what from Santa... But I never thought of turning a Christmas tree into a weapon!
So the victim apparently sought refuge in the living room, hoping to get away from Miss Miracle. But Miracle didn't want a silent night... She was ready for a violent night! With a Christmas tree in hand, Rivera then proceeded to repeatedly strike the poor soul on the couch.
Now that's a Christmas miracle gone wrong.
Miss Miracle got the victim good too, giving them a collection of scratches on their upper body and arms. We can only imagine the actual relationship between Rivera and her victim, so we really don't know what could of caused the holiday melee.
But don't worry. Miracle didn't come up empty-handed for Christmas. She got just what she asked for. A jail cell! The Pinellas County Jail became her temporary crib, though she has since been released. Hopefully, next year she will celebrate a more traditional Christmas... You know, like not beating someone with your decorations.
