Fort Myers Beach Margaritaville November Construction Update

Not the Fort Myers Beach Margaritaville. This one is in Vegas

The Fort Myers Beach Margaritaville Resort looks like it's ready to open. They have done so much finishing work since the October video, I was shocked when I saw this. This on the heels of the announcement that they are taking bookings for the holidays. "Now you can get a room as early as December 21st." Now guests coming to Florida have a new option.

The downside to booking this December is twofold. One, not everything is ready. According to the Naples Daily News, "The Fins Up Beach Club will still be under construction." The solution for that is they will spot you a beach chair and umbrella. The second, as again reported by the Naples Daily News is "the $646 nightly rate for the most basic room."

Ouch. Shoot for the stars, as they say, but that rate is quite a bit more than what you'd pay at a 5 star resort on South Beach in Miami.

If you're looking to work at Margaritaville, they are hiring. From restaurant workers, to greeter, to nail tech, to engineer. There's several openings listed. Anyone still reading this, or should we just get to the video? :)

Another amazing video by Brian Kennedy showing off all the progress made at the hotel. They really could not have asked for better weather getting things done so fast. When was the last time it rained? September? The Fort Myers Beach Margaritaville is looking good and is just 6 weeks away from welcoming their first guests.

If you're looking to get out of town for the holidays, here's some ideas.
