Through Will Levis' first two starts, the Tennessee Titans look like they've got their quarterback of the future. Levis statistically is completing over 60% of his passes with 4 touchdowns to 1 interception. All 4 touchdowns came in his debut against the Falcons. And the interception came in the final two minutes of the Steelers game when the Titans had to score a touchdown. He forced the ball and the Steelers made him pay the price. But why did it take so long to get Levis in the game? Is Mike Vrabel responsible for not playing Will Levis? Absolutely. When you have a young talent like Levis you need to get him on the field a playing. Especially when Ryan Tannehill has been playing below average this year. Obviously Mike Vrabel is responsible for not playing Will Levis, and it's not a good look.
Coaching Malpractice
In 2020 the Los Angeles Chargers, led by Anthony Lynn, did something similar with Justin Herbert. It took Tyrod Taylor getting his lung punctured by team doctors to force Lynn's hand and put Herbert in the game. From the moment Herbert stepped on the field, it was obvious he belonged. It was coaching malpractice that cost Lynn his job. I believe some of that had to do with the way Lynn handled the quarterback competition. If Taylor had not had his lung punctured who knows when Herbert would have get in the game. The same way it took a Ryan Tannehill injury to get Will Levis in the game. As far as I am concerned it's coaching malpractice when you mishandle a young potential franchise quarterback.
Mike Vrabel should not lose his job over this. However Mike Vrabel needs to answer questions as to why it took an injury for Levis to get on the field. Ryan Tennehill is no longer a starting quarterback in the NFL. Even the way the team handled the messaging before the Steelers game was strange. The team stated that Ryan Tannehill could not play and Will Levis would get the starts. Will Levis has earned the start, and needs to keep the job for the foreseeable future.
My Halloween pumpkin bit the dust days ago. In fact, here is a hairy and scary video of it. Pumpkins just don't last in the Southwest Florida heat and humidity. Halloween may be wrapping up but pumpkins are still in season. Wether you scoop the guts out of the gourd or buy the puree in a can, here are five of the best pumpkin recipes for Fall in Florida and for TikTok Tuesday.
Some health officials call pumpkin a superfood because they are low fat and packed with nutrients. They have things like iron, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and foliate which are all said to be great for boosting immunity. Pumpkins are also full of beta carotene which is good for eye health as well as immunity. Because these gourds have lots of fiber, they also help to keep you feeling full a little longer than some other foods. Pumpkins have a natural sweetness which is a benefit for those trying to avoid added sugar to their diet.
