The Taylor Swift Game – Chiefs at Vikings – Will Be Televised Here in Southwest Florida

The Taylor Swift effect is absolutely real. Taylor was in attendance at last Sunday's game in New York and the tv ratings were incredible. It was the most watched show on a Sunday since the Super Bowl. NBC, which aired the game, provided these numbers. "Sunday Night Football," the biggest demographic gains were among girls 12 to 17 (53%), women 18 to 24 (24%) and women older than 35 (34%). Chiefs at Vikings is next on her "tour".
So yes, people will absolutely tune in to an NFL game if they think Taylor Swift will be there. So what's next.

This Sunday (October 8), The Kansas City Chiefs travel to Minnesota to play the Vikings. Will Taylor be there? Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey spoke to TMZ . "If Taylor chooses to come back to Minneapolis this weekend, we’ll be Ready For It," said Frey, "It’s possible she will have to console Travis Kelce after the Vikings beat the Chiefs, but there are plenty of great spots across town for them to go on a date and lift their spirits'"
So can we watch the Chiefs at Vikings game here in Southwest Florida without buying the NFL Sunday ticket?
Absolutely. The game is broadcast on our local CBS tv station. If you have cable or satellite tv, or YouTube tv, or one of the others that include local channels, the local CBS station will be there. It's the station your grandparents watch for all those NCIS shows.
No cable or satellite tv? If you have Paramount+, the game will be streaming live. Still no? Go to Best Buy and buy a $20 antenna. This works fine for me here in Estero. If you live further south you may need to buy one of those amplified ones. Once you get set up it's on the channel 11-1.
It's not confirmed yet, that Taylor Swift will be at the game. Or if she is, will she bring along a bunch of her friends like last week? Unless someone spots Taylor in Minnesota before Sunday at 4pm, we'll have to wait until game time to find out.
