Collier County Encourages Halloween Weddings
Have you been thinking about tying the knot but have not figured out how to do it or where to do it? This idea is for you. The clerk’s office in Collier County encourages Halloween weddings this year. The Collier County Courthouse Chapel in Naples is fully decorated for the fall season and the clerk wants it to see it get some action. Say your vows for the first time or you can have some fun and renew them. Show up dressed in traditional attire, or get creative with a costume and have even more fun. “We are looking forward to seeing sports fans, witches, zombies, and more,” says Clerk Crystal K Kinzel.

If you want to get married for Halloween, you need to make an appointment and the sooner the better. There are limited time lots so reserve yours as soon as you can. If this is your first time, meaning you are engaged to your person and not already married, you also need a wedding license. Wedding licenses can be obtained at the Clerk’s office in advance. You can apply online by clicking here. Click the marriage button once on the site. If you already have a marriage license but have not pulled the trigger yet, it’s only good for 60 days so be sure to check the dates.
The ceremony is $30. If you dress in costume, keep in mind that to enter the courthouse you will still have to pass through a metal detector. Collier County encourages Halloween weddings this year.
