Will McDonald’s New Giant Fan Favorite Sandwich Come to Florida?

McDonald's. A nice place to get a sandwich

Sometimes I think I'm the most hungry person in all Fort Myers. Hit the drive thu? Yup! Well, if you've ever scarfed down a McChicken Sandwich and thought, "This needs to be bigger," brace yourself.  McDonald's is dropping a bombshell – the Grand McChicken Sandwich! Yep, they're taking that classic shredded lettuce and mayo combo and slapping on a chicken patty so massive it could star in its own action movie.

Why the grandeur, you ask? According to Eat this not that, McDonald's claims they're just giving the people what they want. I guess that's a McChicken on steroids. According to them, it's about "giving fans more of what they're craving." Translation: more cluckin' goodness per bite.

But, here's the thing, this behemoth is currently hitting up specific spots only. If you're in Bakersfield, Chico, Fresno, Sacramento, or hanging in Nevada, consider yourself lucky. The rest of us? We're in McChicken limbo, hoping it spreads like wildfire and comes to Southwest Floeida soon.

Fan Favorite Sandwich:

Oh, and don't sweat the logistics. Lunch, dinner, or anytime hunger strikes, they've got your back. There's even a McDelivery app because, seriously, who wants to wrestle traffic when you're about to devour a sandwich the size of a small car?

Now, this isn't McDonald's first rodeo in the "grand" department. They've already hit us with the Grand Big Mac and the Chicken Big Mac, basically meals with superhero alter egos.

But, here's the real mystery How many calories? We don't know. All we know is, it won't be a salad. And the price? Well, expect your wallet to shed a tear or two.

So, as we dive into this fast-food adventure, we all hope that Florida soon gets a taste. And, hey Mickey D's, how about a wallet-friendly deal? If we're going grand, let's make it not cost a grand!
