The Bay County Sheriff's Office had its hands full on July 4th, 2023, when they responded to an assault and battery between two Florida females that could only be described as a chaotic circus of shenanigans.
According to a Facebook Post from The Bay County Sheriff’s Office, on Independence Day, and a house party was going down at on Olokee Street in Callaway. But here's the kicker - this wasn't your typical party with responsible adults making sure things stay somewhat civil. This bash was run by a bunch of unsupervised minors. What could go wrong?
As the clock struck midnight, things escalated faster than a firework shooting into the night sky. A bunch of dudes decided to settle their differences right there in the yard.
However, the real action started when Macy Regan, probably channeling her inner John Wick, decided to make a dramatic exit. Unfortunately, her escape route led her right into the path of Dixie Stiles, who had a bone to pick - well, not just a bone, more like an ear.
You see, Stiles had a hunch that Regan had pulled off the heist of the century...stealing alcohol and vape pens! The audacity! In Florida, that's a cardinal sin. Like never eating gator or orange crunch cake.
Things Get Wild with these 2 Florida females:
But here's where things went from wacky to downright Looney Tunes. Regan, feeling the need to settle the score, whipped out a 9MM handgun like it was just another party favor. Now these are some dangerous Florida Females!
Stiles, being the brave soul she is, decided that a 9MM pointing at her was no reason to back down. She played her own version of "Whack-a-Mole" and shoved the gun away.
And that's when the brawl broke out, a no-holds-barred catfight that would make even the UFC's toughest fighters go "Whoa, ladies, take it down a notch!"
In the end, Stiles' ear paid the ultimate price, leaving the scene separated from its rightful owner. Poor ear, it had dreams of listening to stoner conversations about conspiracy theories. But instead, it found itself on the ground, far away from the party.
Now, Stiles is facing battery charges, and Regan is in a league of her own with a felony battery causing bodily harm. Who knew a Fourth of July party could lead to such a legal fireworks display? Maybe one day they can put this whole ear biting thing behind them?
Video: Drunk Florida Man Passes Out While Driving His Boat, Narrowly Misses Swimmers On Madeira Beach
I've been boating in Florida a lot and there's one main rule. The driver needs to be sober. I don't care how drunk you get when you get to shore, but drunk boating can get very dangerous. This incident along Madeira Beach in St. Petersburg could have ended much differently.
Not sure how long he had been speeding along slumped over the wheel, but long enough that the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office helicopter was able to get over him and get this video. The boat luckily kept along the shoreline rather than heading to the beach. You can see he was close enough that he went in between the swimmers and the kayaker.
I wish the helicopter would have zoomed in so we could see the looks on the faces of the people on Madeira Beach. I'm sure some of them were just as drunk as the guy driving the boat. Back in high school we called it Mad Beach. Do they still call it that? I have about a week's worth of stories I could tell about that place, but some of the people involved are married and have families now. It wouldn't be right. I'm trying to be respectful, Brenda.
Here's the video
I love the part about the beer can on the deck. Ok, I'll stop. I don't want to spoil it.
So what's the penalty for BWI
I mean, I had to know. So from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department, here's what he can be expecting.
