Fowl Play: Florida Man Arrested After Chicken Wing Attack.
In the world of domestic disputes, some people might resort to throwing a glass of water in anger. But one Florida man took things to a whole new level. He allegedly chucked chicken wings at his wife during a heated argument.
Yes, you read that right. Chicken wings.
According WPLG, Robert Francis Audette, 39, was arrested after his wife called for help during a disturbance at their Wildwood home on Sunday night. The victim, holding their baby, told officers that they had been arguing over Audette's alleged infidelity when he suddenly launched a handful of saucy wings in her direction.
Florida Man:
Now, we're not sure what kind of sauce was on those wings, but it must have been some seriously sticky stuff. Officers reported seeing sauce on the victim's chin, neck, and shoulder, which means the wings must have been flying fast and furious.
But that's not even the craziest part. The victim tried to escape to a bedroom with their baby, but Audette went full-on Hulk mode. This guy started banging on the door while shouting threats.
"I'm about to beat your f***ing **s!" he allegedly yelled, as if he was auditioning for a role in a low-budget action movie.
Thankfully, the victim and baby were able to escape unharmed and police eventually took Audette into custody. During questioning, he admitted to throwing the wings but claimed he didn't mean to hit his wife.
Look, we're not here to judge anyone's relationship dynamics, but if you're at the point where you're flinging poultry products at your significant other, it might be time to reevaluate some things. We're just glad that no one was seriously injured in this bizarre incident.
Next time don't worked up over something trivial. Remember, throwing chicken wings is not the answer. Unless you're trying to start a food fight, in which case, go ahead and wing it.
