Florida Man Pounds Two Beers, Takes Off His Shirt, And Nearly Falls Off The Skyliner Platform At Disney World
This Florida Man should have gone easier on the beers at the Food and Wine Festival at Disney World's Epcot. Here's how it went down:
30 year old Chase Holderby of Merritt Island, Florida, was being very loud and stumbling around the American Adventure Pavilion. (That's where they have the animatronics that tell you about history.) That's where witnesses said he chugged down two beers in approximately 30 seconds. Food and Wine Festival prices are actually not bad. You can actually get a beer for 5 bucks. But it took 30 seconds to chug them? That's rookie numbers. Anyway....
Chase was having a great time, shaking hands and high fiving people. However, as they got over to the Japan Pavilion, Chase began arguing with the people he was there with. By the time they got over to the Morocco Pavilion, things must have gotten heated as park security asked him to leave. For those of you unfamiliar with Epcot, here's the map so you can follow along.
After that, according to park security, "We followed Holderby to the International Gateway exit while he took his shirt off and continued asking what he had done wrong." They followed him out to the Disney Skyliner gondolas. "Once in the line queue, he continued to act belligerent and cause the crowd of people in line to become alarmed," the deputy wrote. "While attempting to get him onto the physical gondola car, he wouldn't initially get in and was dangerously close to falling into the area beneath where the attraction operates."
The park staff stopped the gondolas for everyone's safety. When deputies arrived, Chase was arrested on charges of trespassing and disorderly intoxication.
It's really a simple formula. Florida Man + Beers + Shirt Off = Police.

Florida Man Destroys Car In Disney World Parking Lot, Leaves A Hundred Dollars And A Note “Sorry”
One Reddit poster took to the platform to vent about their unfortunate experience at Epcot. Seems Disney World Florida Man was at it again with some pretty heavy front end damage to the poster's car. The victim was enjoying a night out at Epcot watching the Hanson show when someone Mmm-Bopped their car. To add to the insult, whoever smashed the car left behind a hundred dollars and a note that said "sorry". But no information so they could file a claim. From the picture it looks like they hooked the back bumper with this car's front end. Probably sideswiped the corner.
The poster did the right thing, but isn't expecting much "We did contact security and filed a case with FHP but they didn’t send anyone out because the vehicle wasn’t occupied and is on private property. They said they have an investigator who may contact us but we’ll probably only see footage if a case is pursued." Speculation in the comment section would suggest that the Disney World Florida Man who hit the car was uninsured or had been drinking. Leaving the scene to prevent a DUI. Since it's Florida, my money would be on "both".
And who does that? A note that says "sorry" and a hundred bucks? There's no way that'll cover the deductible. And since they've not seen the footage, we don't really know if its a Disney World Florida Man, or Disney World Florida Woman.
