With all that Tom Brady has accomplished, it's no wonder why someone would want to buy anything having to do with him, however one man tried to take advantage of that and now faces up to 92 years in prison for selling fake Super Bowl rings.

24 year-old Scott Spina admitted to selling fake Super Bowl rings engraved with Tom Brady’s name. The feds say that Spina started coming up with the scam back in 2017 when he bought a Super Bowl 51 ring off an unnamed Patriots player with at least one bad check. The man then turned around and sold the ring for $63,000 to a broker in California that specialized in championship rings.

Prosecutors say Spina not only got the ring off the player but also received other information allowing him to pose as the player which allowed him to order more rings that are supposed to be for player's families.

Spina now faces up to 92 years in prison on charges of mail fraud, aggravated identity theft and wire fraud.
