Everyone seems to be in full on football mode now, but the start of the NHL season is just a few weeks away. Before regular games start, there are some pre-season games, and if you want to get in to Friday's Tampa Bay Lightning game at Amalie Arena for FREE you're in luck!
If you bring a non-perishable food item for Feeding Tampa Bay, you’ll get a FREE terrace level ticket or t-shirt. They’ll start taking food donations at 4:30pm right outside of the arena on Thunder Alley. The Bolts will be playing the Carolina Hurricanes. Puck drops at 7pm.
Feeding Tampa Bay is on a mission to support local Hispanic communities with this food drive. Feeding Tampa Bay says, “Food is more than just a meal on a plate. When we share food around a table, we can begin to break the cycle of hunger and reimagine new possibilities. Consistent access to nutritious food enables students to excel, parents to focus on their livelihoods, and seniors to maintain a healthy life.”
