Florida Men Pose As U.S. Marshals To Avoid Wearing Masks At Casino

Florida men at casino

Two men were arrested for impersonating federal officers at the Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort on Feb 11th.

Staff members asked Walter Wayne Brown Jr., 53, and Gary Brummett, 81, to cover their faces with masks but refused. They then presented the staff with a fake U.S. Marshal badge and fake laminates that said they were medically exempt from wearing face masks.

The hotel manager persisted on them wearing masks, but the men threatened him and the staff with multiples fines and even incarceration if they didn't cooperate.

An investigation discovered the men had never been employed by the U.S. Marshal services and were arrested by... you guessed it... a U.S. Marshal.

Talk about some good old-fashioned karma.
