With the majority of sports being put on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic, here's some of the look backs on some significant sport moments.
May 26th:
1907 - Chicago White Sox pitcher Ed Walsh no-hits NY Highlanders, 8-1 in 5 inning game
1917 - Walt Cruise hit 1st HR out of Braves Field
During spring training in 1925, Ruth fell ill, and returned to New York for what was reported as stomach surgery. Playing just 98 games, Ruth had what would be his worst season as a Yankee as he finished the season with a .290 average and 25 home runs. The Yankees team finished next to last in the American League with a 69-85 mark.
