Jon Bon Jovi is Washing Dishes at His Soul Kitchen Restaurant During Coronavirus Pandemic

Jon Bon Jovi, like many musicians, is unable to do what he does best right now due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but he's using his time to help out at his JBJ Soul Kitchen Restaurant in Red Bank, N.J.

The restaurant's Instagram shared the photos below featuring a shot of Bon Jovi washing dishes at the restaurant. The post is captioned, "If you can’t do what you do... do what you can!"

JBJ Soul Kitchen has three different locations in New Jersey: The aforementioned Red Bank, Toms River and one in Newark on the campus of Rutgers University, which recently opened. The restaurant doesn't list prices on its menu, but patrons who are able to pay are asked to pay a suggested donation for their meal which helps subsidize the cost for those who can't afford to pay in an aim to help those dealing with homelessness or hunger issues. Diners are also given the option to put in time at the restaurant to work for their meal.

New Jersey is currently under a state of emergency, but the Red Bank and Toms River locations are open for take-out only on reduced hours and a limited menu due to food demand. Complete details can be found at JBJSoulKitchen.org.
