The Boston Marathon is the latest major sporting event to postpone due to coronavirus concerns.
On Friday, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh announced that the April 20th race would be pushed to Sept. 14th.
The Boston Marathon typically draws more than 30,000 participants from all over the world, as well as more than a million spectators each year. Recent marathons in Rome, Paris, and Barcelona have also been postponed until the fall.
