10 Super Bowl Party Essentials That Are Sure To Make You The Best Host

It's that time of year again! The party that every foodie dreams of attending. There is no doubt that Super Bowl parties can be stressful, but here are some tips on how you can be the best host!

1. Party guests

One of the most important parts of your party is having people join you to watch the game. If no one shows up, that will be a huge bummer and you don't want that when you've prepped all the food and decorated your whole house. So, text all of your buddies and invite them over for football and festivities in the comfort of your home!

2. A television... that works

I can promise you that your guests will have steam coming out of their ears if your TV doesn't work for that first kick-off. Test your television a few times before people arrive!

3. Seating

Having a seat for this kind of party is a big deal! It's always a good idea to check the guest list and make sure that you are able to accommodate everyone that is coming so that when they arrive there isn't "standing-room-only."

4. Utensils

This seems like a very basic necessity, but trust me, you don't want to forget plates, cups, napkins, and silverware. "Plastic-ware" seems to be the going trend for parties with large groups of people. Nowadays there are a number of themed graphics on the supplies that will make your party amazing. And they also make for a super easy clean up. What a win, win!!

5. Coolers filled with a variety of drinks

PSA: This is your reminder to make sure that you are already chilling the beer for Feb. 2nd, 2020. Ice, drinks, and coolers are VERY important pieces to having a successful Super Bowl party. Coolers make it easy for people to serve themselves. It's a good idea to have it stocked with waters, sodas, beer, and more beer.

6. A clean home

It's the little things in life that make things great! Having a clean space for your guests will give you extra points towards being the best host ever! This way your guests can jump up and down when their team is running to get a touchdown and they don't have to worry that they might twist their ankle when they come crashing down on a pile of unfolded laundry.

7. Chips and LOTS of dips

I'm just saying, but this might be the most important thing to have at your party! It's not really a party without chips and dip. Have you been to a party where there weren't any chips and dip? What did you do? Probably left.

8. Chicken wings

While we are on the topic of food options, chicken wings are a staple appetizer needed at every Super Bowl party. The more wings the better. Finger food is always a hot commodity when having a get-together, especially for a football game because it doesn't make people feel uncomfortable when they go back for seconds or ... thirds.

9. Prepare TOO MUCH food

In some situations, it is okay to have too much. This is one of them. The Super Bowl is said to be the 2nd most popular day for food consumption.

Have Fun!

The #1 tip is to enjoy your party! Now that everything has come together, it is time to relax, watch the game, and cheer with your friends over a day that should technically be deemed a holiday.

If you can do all of these things for your party, there is no doubt that you will score a touchdown with all of your guests!
