Backyard Beer Garden: The New Trendy Spot Everyone is Talking about
Our new favorite hangout spot opened October 17.
Backyard Beer Garden is exactly as the name implies: a "backyard party" themed restaurant with picnic tables, bocce ball, and all. The Garden took over the location of Two Amigos off of Cape Coral Parkway.
Backyard Beer Garden is the brain child of Chris Ilardi and Gabe Ferraro. Both men grew up surrounded by Italian family cooking. They appreciate the nostalgia of a backyard cookout, which is what they wanted to capture in their restaurant. Surrounded by an ambiance of string lights, you can play backyard-style games like Jenga while munching on a party favorite. The Garden's unique menu features booze-soaked watermelon, pork belly bao buns, and an authentic Philly cheesesteak.
Furthermore, each sandwich on the menu comes with savory Cape Crab Fries or crispy tater tots, including our personal favorite, The Cutlet: breaded chicken with a broccoli rabe and sharp provolone. With eight tasty sandwiches, 13 exciting appetizers, three fresh salads, and four "mix & match" tacos to choose from, you're sure to find something you like.
Our favorite thing about Backyard Beer Garden is the "Build Your Own S'mores". The server brings out a burner and a tray of everything you need to craft the perfect s'more. There are marshmallows, Hershey minis, caramel, peanut butter cups, and a skewer. What's more "backyard party" than that?
