The NBA is expected to make a few rule changes for the 2018/19 season.
Among the tweaks are resetting the shot clock to 14 seconds instead of 24 after an offensive rebound, which they hope will increase shot attempts late in games. More rule changes include simplifying the 'clear-path' foul rule and a rule that expands instant replay following a 'hostile act'.
