A home in Fort Myers was the target of an early morning shooting.
The Fort Myers Police Department received a shots fired call shortly after 6 a.m. this morning on Economy Street.
When they arrived, they found several bullet holes in the house and vehicles belonging to the homeowner.
According to News-Press, authorities found shell casings across the street from the home that was targeted.
At this time, it's not clear if this was a random act of violence or if someone in the home was being targeting by the shooter(s).
Police are investigating the incident and have not named a suspect at this point.
