With the arrival of National Hostess Cupcake day I thought we’d reminice about our favorite hostess snack as a kid. Later, we will quiz you with Hostess Snack Trivia on Wiki-Pete-ia on the Shemon and Sheppard Show on ESPN Southwest Florida.
During my childhood, my two power snacks were the Ding Dong and Twinkies. They were automatic additions to my standard lunch box at school. Sandwich? Check! Fruit? Check! Mini-thermos full of warm milk? Check! Foil-wrapped Ding Dong or wrapped Twinkie thrown in? Check!!
Certainly there were more but those were the top two. In a moment we will quiz you on your memory of your favorite hostess snack or maybe your best friend’s favorite snack. Perhaps you even traded snakes during lunch period.
