The New York Jets and Aaron Rodgers are here! They are the first team to officially open training camp. And they will do it under the watchful cameras from Hard Knocks. As if Jets camp wasn't going to be a media circus already. They are in the largest media market in the world and they have a new attention-grabbing quarterback in place. Plus they lobbied hard to NOT be the Hard Knox team but the NFL chose them forced them to do it.
One of the most intriguing aspects of watching the behind-the-scenes Hard Knox show is cut-down day. watching those final conversations with a player when he is told he will be cut and that his dream is over is compelling TV. The Jets say that aspect is inhumane and they will not allow such access.
