To identify the most popular Chris in every state, Shaneco started with a list of 32 of the most famous Chris's, according to sites like Ranker and Elle. Next, they analyzed search data going back to the inception of Google Trends (2004) to identify which states searched for which Chris more than others. Big names like Chris Rock were the favorite in more than one state. No matter what the reason is for who the most popular Chris in every U.S. state is we can agree it is the best name. And there're a few reasons for it being the best. Number 1 it is open for everyone. Christopher's and Christian's can go with Chris, but so can Christina's and Crissy's for the ladies out there donning the greatest name. There's a religious meaning, but I'll let you do your own research on that.
There is a really nice variation on where the Chris's come from. Athletes and musicians are well represented. But actors take a lions share of names on this list. And because Chris is the greatest name ever, the Super Hero's on this list hold a special place in my heart. Chris Evans as Captain America and Chris Pratt as Peter Quill aka Star Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy. Super hero's are the best and are represented by Chris's. The most outside of the box answer comes from Georgia where Ludacris is the most popular Chris. His real name is Christopher Brian Bridges.
