Following a six month investigation, the NFL informed the Miami Dolphins today that they would be stripped of a 2023 first round pick and a 2024 3rd round pick for violation of league policies relating to, one of my all time NFL hypocritical phrases, "the integrity of the game"..Well well well..I could say a whole bunch of "I told you so" jokes from what I have had to deal with here from my colleagues but being the classy guy that I am, I will just deal in facts.... Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has also been suspended through October 17th and fined 1.5 million dollars...
The investigation concluded that Ross along with vice chairman and limited partner Bruce Beal -- violated the anti-tampering policy on three occasions from 2019 to 2022 in conversations with quarterback Tom Brady and the agent for then New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton...What is even more interesting is Beal had impermissible communications with Tom Brady while he was still quarterback of the Patriots back in 2020 while Brady was still under contract...Once again, following the 2021 season, the league learned that Ross and Beal tampered with Brady again when he was under contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers...To top it all off, the NFL found there were more impermissible communications..This time with agent Don Yee who just happens to represent both Tom Brady and Sean Payton.."Unprecedented" is how NFL commissioner Roger Goodell described what was discovered in the league's findings..He went on to say in a statement "The investigators found tampering violations of unprecedented scope and severity" We will have more on the Shemon And Sheppard Show coming up this afternoon!!
Oh and one last thing..Tip of the cap to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk..You have to give him credit here, at least I will...He was way out in front of this a few months ago and wasn't taken all that seriously..Here's his latest take on Ross' comments from today..
2022 Best and Worst NFL Uniforms
You can cheer, bet and support an NFL team all you want, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you support their choice of uniforms. You may wish your team had a different design or color scheme, or maybe they’ve been wearing the same uniforms for years and it’s time for an upgrade. Maybe you’re a fan of a rival team’s uniform (although you’d never admit it). Whatever the case may be, you either like a team’s uniform or you don’t. Even if a team isn't that great, if you wear that jersey and it pops off with that hat and shoes combo - that's where you go. I'm not the only one who does that.
But out of all 32 NFL teams, which team ultimately has the best uniform? It’s a topic that’s been debated by sportswriters and even casino gambling analysts in the UK for years, but we were curious as to what the everyday sports fan thinks.
A survey of over 1,000 Americans to determine which NFL team uniform reigns supreme… and which teams’ uniforms fall flat.
Because there are so many variations of uniforms an NFL team can have, the analysis sticks to the most well-known color uniforms that each team has as of early 2022.

Although not number one on the field, the Carolina Panthers come out on top for best NFL uniforms. Between the panther on the helmet and the attractive blue, black and silver color scheme, visually, they appeal to many Americans.
Following the Panthers are the Cincinnati Bengals, runner-ups in Super Bowl LVI and now runner-ups for best NFL uniform. Maybe the Bengals will have better luck next year both in Super Bowl LVII and in NFL uniform rankings.
Rounding out the top five for best uniforms are the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers.
Not all teams’ uniforms appeal to the masses. The Cleveland Browns rank dead last for NFL uniforms, which may be understandable considering “brown” is not only their name but their main color.
Despite a new name, a new logo and a new uniform, the Washington Commanders follow the Browns and rank 31st for one of the worst NFL uniforms. Is it too late to change the design?
Other undesirable uniforms include the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks. At least the Bengals can claim victory over the Rams in terms of uniform appeal.

Despite ranking 10th best uniform in the NFL, the Miami Dolphins rank first when it comes to team colors. Something about the aqua, orange and white combo really resonates with people.
Other top team colors include the Panthers, the Cowboys, the Steelers and the Los Angeles Chargers.
At the bottom of the list again ranks the Browns, followed by the Commanders. The Denver Broncos, the Houston Texans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers all rank in the bottom five when it comes to NFL team colors.

What’s the most important part of a uniform?
What makes people either love it or hate it? For 70% of respondents, it all boils down to the uniform colors. And nearly half (47%) said teams should update their respective uniforms every five years.
Unfortunately, even with an update, there’s no guarantee those new uniforms will be attractive. True fans will support their team no matter what their uniforms look like, and more than 1 in 10 say they’ll buy a new jersey whenever their team gets a new uniform. But hopefully, those new uniforms are attractive.
Methodology
In February 2022, a survey was conducted of 1,110 Americans to get their feedback on NFL uniforms and team colors. Respondents were 48% female and 49% male, with an age range of 18 to 85 and an average age of 38 years old.
