The Blind Side took an ugly turn this week in real life. Many of you are familiar with The Blind Side movie. It stars Sandra Bullock. She won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy in a real life story where her family took in Michael Oher, a homeless child who went on to win a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens.
The real life story took a wild turn this week when Michael Oher filed a lawsuit against the Tuohy’s. he claims they never legally adopted him and fooled him into signing paperwork. He says he is owed millions of dollars, including profits from The Blind Side movie.
The Tuohy’s claimed they did nothing wrong and that they did not make a lot of money from the movie.
This drama would certainly be worthy of a Blindsided or Blind Side 2.0 movie!
