College Football Coaches Poll Top 25

UGA College Football Coaches Poll Top 25

Another domino has fallen, and we are a stop closer to the 2022 college football season. The 2022 College Football Coaches poll top 25has dropped, and it's chalk full of blue bloods at the top. The SEC once again leads the way with 6 of the top 25 teams. The ACC is the second most represented conference with 5. The Big Ten and Big 12 each come in with 4 teams in the top 25. The Pac 12 has 3, AAC with 2, and Notre Dame represents all Independents. The surprising nugget here is the ACC with 5 representatives in the top 25. Last season the ACC was down in a big way. It looks like that conference is poised for a bounce back season, and will get some respect they didn't have last year.

Alabama is back on top the poll after receiving 54 of 66 1st place votes. Ohio State got 5 1st place votes while the defending champs, Georgia, got 6 1st place votes. Texas is the only other program to receive a 1st place vote. Ohio State and Georgia were only separated by 22 points (OSU 1564, UGA 1542). Miami is the only school from Florida to land in the top 25 Coaches Poll. Florida, Florida State, and UCF all received votes, but not enough to get in the top 25. UCF led the way with 55 votes, the Gators were next receiving 17 votes, and one voter backed the Seminoles. The Big Ten has Iowa and Penn State at 26 and 27, so the 4 teams in the top 25 could very well be 6 had the votes fell slightly different. Here's your College Football Coaches Poll Top 25.
