Big 10 Football Dominates: Big 10 Football is on the rise. Literally! Tuesday's latest college football playoff poll released shows four Big 10 teams ranked in the top five spots. These polls will be updated each week until the end of the season when the final poll will be used to determine the 12 team college football playoff field.

The undefeated Oregon Ducks continue their hold on the number one spot. One loss Ohio State is ranked second. SEC newcomer Texas holds the third spot. One loss Penn State is fourth and undefeated Indiana rounds out the top 5.

There should not be much change this weekend as Oregon has a winnable game at Wisconsin. Ohio State should breeze past Northwestern. Texas is at Arkansas. While Penn State takes on Purdue and Indiana is on a bye week before its massive game at Ohio State. However, if 7th ranked Tennessee beats 12th ranked Georgia it will be interesting to see if the playoff committee pushes the Vols up a spot or two.

BIG 10 FOOTBALL DOMINATES

Big 10 football dominates: If the season ended today, the Big 10 and SEC would have four teams each in the playoffs. The ACC, Big 12 and Mountain West would have one team each and Notre Dame would round out the field. But the season is not over today and we have three more weekends of football and that means we have three more updates to the college football playoff polls coming our way.
