navigate this automotive nightmare.

We're lucky to have so much spooky fun to enjoy in Florida and Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream was just voted the #1 Halloween event.

Halloween has always been one of my favorite times of the year. Growing up in Chicago the weather wasn't always ideal and you had to really consider your costume and making sure you'd be warm enough for parties and trick-or-treating. Here in Southwest Florida though, weather isn't a hindrance at all, in fact it's nice that the heat and humidity calm down a tad, and it seems the entire month of October there's fun just about everywhere to enjoy including at the theme parks. And one Halloween event in Tampa has been voted #1.

Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream: Voted #1 Halloween Event

Every year Busch Gardens does it big when it comes to Howl-O-Scream. With haunted houses, scare zones, amazing entertainment, themed food and drinks and more. And it's so good that it's been voted the #1 theme park Halloween event in America by by USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. The 10Best nominees are put together by editors from 10Best.com and relevant expert contributors.

Marc Swanson, Chief Executive of United Parks & Resorts, parent company of Busch Gardens said in a press release: "There's no other Halloween event like Howl-O-Scream, where our guests can immerse themselves in a truly fun Halloween experience. This year, our Busch Gardens parks are celebrating 25 years of fear by unleashing more exciting frights, inviting guests on an adrenaline-fueled journey."

This year, Howl-O-Scream featured five haunted houses, including the NEW Shadows of Wonderland and the enhanced Witch of the Woods, five NEW scare zones and NEW and reimagined interactive sinister shows designed to make guests jump out of their seats.

If you didn't get a chance to experience it this year, put it on your list of must-do's for next Halloween!
