Decimated Rams Host Vikings on Thursday Night Football: The injury riddled Los Angeles Rams still have the DNA of a Super Bowl champion and they are trying to salvage their season as they sit at the bottom of the NFC West division. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings were the last remaining undefeated team in the NFC until last week's last second loss to the Detroit Lions.
Tonight's game may very well determine the future of the Rams. If they lose they will drop to 2-5 and may start trading players like former Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp and possibly quarterback Matthew Stafford for the right price. If the Rams win then they will be 3-4, within a game of .500 and keep fighting.
The NFL trade deadline is November 5 (which also happens to be Election Day) at 4pm eastern. The deadline will be the last time NFL teams can make trades until the 2025 league year which begins on March 12.
Strategically, Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell comes from the Rams coach Sean McVay coaching tree. They won Super Bowl LVI together. They are very close friends. Both are considered excellent play-callers.
DECIMATED RAMS HOST VIKINGS
Decimated Rams Host Vikings: While previously injured Kupp plans to return to the lineup following his Week 2 ankle injury, their Injured Reserve list has a lot of starters on it. They include three offensive lineman and receiver Puka Nacua, among others.
In a fun twist, the Rams will where white jerseys at home tonight so the Vikings will come with the purple jerseys and white pants they normally wear at home.
For the latest on this game and the rest of the NFL tune into Craig Shemon and Company each week from 2-6pm on ESPN Southwest Florida.
