If you're a fan of wrestling, December will be a big month as WWE's Friday Night Smackdown is coming to Tampa.
WWE just seems to be gaining popularity year after year. The first time I went to a WWE event was when I lived up in Fargo, ND. I've since gone a few times when they've brought a show to Hertz Arena in Estero. They're so much fun and even if you haven't been paying close attention to the story lines, there's nothing like seeing a crowd erupt with cheers or boo's for the wrestlers they love, or love to hate. I always get excited for the walk-out music and seeing them come out and see the crowd for the first time. And if you want to go see a WWE show, Friday Night Smackdown is coming to Tampa.
WWE's Friday Night Smackdown Coming To Tampa
WWE has many big events throughout the year including SummerSlam, WrestleMania, Survivor Series, Money in the Bank and Royal Rumble just to name a few. WWE produces over 300 events each year, traveling to and selling out arenas around the country. WWE just released their holiday tour schedule for the end of 2024. If you have a wrestling fan on your Christmas list, this would make for the perfect gift. I already have a friend that comes to mind that I'm thinking this would be perfect for. I don't think he's missed an event between Orlando, Miami, Tampa and Estero in years.
On Friday, December 27, Friday Night Smackdown is coming to Amalie Arena in Tampa. Featured superstars at the event include Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton. Tickets for WWE's Friday Night Smackdown in Tampa go on sale October 4 at 10am.
