Southwest Florida Residents Can Pay An Uber Driver To Get Their Halloween Costume
Halloween is just around the corner and if you can't be bothered to do the shopping yourself, Southwest Florida residents can pay an Uber driver to get their Halloween costume.
Spooky season is here and you can't walk into a store without seeing candy, decor and costumes. I went to Home Depot the other day for the first time in ages and got lost in the decorations. The massive skeletons are so cool. I wanted everything! Going to stores and scoping out the latest is, to me, part of the fun of the holiday, but apparently some people have gotten so lazy they want to skip that part.

Uber announced in a press release on Friday that this year they're partnering with Spirit Halloween so you'll be able to get your Halloween costume delivered. The partnership is to further their mission to help consumers get anything delivered on demand.
This year will be a big year for Spirit Halloween as they'll be opening a record-breaking 1,525 locations. On the Uber app, you'll see the prices that you'll find in-store. If you sign up for Uber One, you'll get a $0 delivery fee, plus a 5% discount on all Spirit Halloween orders with a $35 minimum purchase.
Beryl Sanders, Director of US Grocery & Retail partnerships at Uber said: "The holiday season officially kicks off this time of year, and households across the country are looking to on-demand delivery to get what's needed—now. That's one of the reasons we're most excited to bring Spirit Halloween to Uber Eats and our other Uber apps to make costumes and other Halloween must-haves a cinch. As a working mom I know how crucial that last minute face paint or mask can be on the morning of the school parade or the hour before trick-or-treating starts, and I'm thrilled we'll be able to meet that demand at Uber."
