Olympics Viewer Fatigue is setting in. The Olympics are in our face. Every. Single. Night. For four hours of Prime Time on NBC and all day on other networks like USA, the drumbeat of event after event goes on for over two weeks. I need a break.

Don't get me wrong, the Olympics and the athletes that perform in them are amazing and I root for the good ole USA as much as anybody. But I've had my fill and I'm ready for something else to grab my attention (like football!).

Once we got past the opening ceremonies it now feels like I've seen everything I wanted to watch. I've seen the GOAT Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky. I've seen Sha'Carri Richardson and Gabby Thomas. And I've seen Noah Lyles win the most exciting 100 meter sprint ever. All were awesome.

I've even seen triathletes swim in that sewer known as the Seine River. Yuk.

Men's and women's USA basketball feels like fait accompli in their separate marches to Gold. Anything else would be earth shattering news. And, the only thing left to watch is Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible-like participation in the closing ceremonies.

OLYMPICS VIEWER FATIGUE

The Olympics are a long event. But here is a secret for next time to be as efficient as possible with your viewing habits to avoid viewer burn out: Due to technology (with the time change) we know the results of the events about 6-8 hours before they air in Prime Time on NBC. If there is an an event you want to witness, don't get sucked into the three hours of TV teases all evening while the network builds up to the main event each night. NBC pushes the biggest draw of the night to 10:15pm ET. Every night. This allows them to catch ratings at 7:15pm PT on the west coast.

To avoid Olympics Viewer Fatigue just tune in to NBC at 10:10pm ET, watch the main event for 10 minutes and you will be caught up with the important stories of the day. The next day, wash, rinse and repeat. That should help eliminate Olympics Viewer Fatigue. You are welcome.

Top 5 Snoop Dogg Moments From The Olympics

There are so many fun things about the Summer Olympics. But one of the most surprising has been actor/rapper Snoop Dog. He has become one of the games biggest stars for his humorous, down to earth commentary. As well as his exuberant cheerleading. Here at the top 5 Snoop Dogg moments from the Olympics for TikTok Tuesday.

NBC hired Snoop to bring his own chill vibe and special sauce to the play by play action. He has been attending everything from less glamorous competitions like badminton to the wildly popular gymnastics and swimming. He even teamed up with Martha Stewart for equestrian.

Top Snoop Dogg Moments From The Olympics

Snoop Dogg is not only a commentator for the summer Olympics in Paris. He also carried the Olympic Torch during part of the opening relay. He says it was one of the greatest honors of his time there so far. (Photo by Stephane De Sakutin - Pool/Getty Images)

In addition, he had become one of the biggest cheerleaders for team USA. In the stands, he is dressed head to toe in patriotic gear. And that's not all. The best part of that gear has been his T-shirts.

Instead of designer labels, they depict the faces of the Olympians who are competing. Think of what that must be like as a beach volleyball player to look in the stands and see your picture emblazoned on Snoop's chest. His arms in the air cheering and dancing.

It's usually the other way around. This is just one of the many ways that has been endearing himself to viewers of all ages.

By the way, the photo at the top of the story is his reaction to one of gymnast Simone Biles' gravity defying feats. It has since gone viral with all kinds of funny memes. There are so many video of him on social media from the Olympics, it really was hard to pick only five to highlight here.

If you don't have a TikTok account, don't worry. I've made it easy to view by taking these links from mine. Simply scroll down and watch from this post. However, you really have to have the sound up on these to fully appreciate the moments. There will surely be more to come.

This commentating on badminton is hilarious. I'm not sure I ever realized that this was an Olympic sport until now.

Snoop has been doing more than commentating, He has also been participating. He gets into the action with many of the athletes includng swimming super star Michael Phelps. Check this out.

Here is a good recap of his time so far at the smmer games. It's also a good interview. He is like a big kid. A very grateful one at that.
