Reese’s Drops New Unwrapped Peanut Butter Mini Eggs

Reese's Peanut Butter Easter Eggs Package

It’s not quite Easter yet, but Reese’s is gearing up for the holiday with a new edition of their popular Peanut Butter Eggs. "The new product, called Reese's Peanut Butter Mini Cups Unwrapped, will be sold in 8-ounce bags and will be, as their name indicates, unwrapped for easy and convenient snacking," stated the Hershey Company.

The company is no stranger to limited-time seasonal candies. They’ve created Peanut Butter Roses for Valentine’s Day, Peanut Butter Pumpkins for Halloween, and tree-shaped peanut butter treats for the winter holiday season. (Unfortunately for the brand, a consumer claimed she was deceived because the wrapper showed the Peanut Butter pumpkins with a nose and mouth like a Jack-o-lantern. However, the actual candy does not have a nose and mouth. The lawsuit has yet to be settled. It also extended to other Reese's products with a picture on the front that doesn't precisely match the candy inside.)

Reese's Summer Olympic Medal Treats

Reese's is dropping a summer shape that's shaped like an Olympic medal to honor the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Instagram's Snackolator posted photos of the packaging with the message that the new shape is coming soon.

"The only medals that I'm training for this summer are new Reese's Medals that are coming out for the Paris 2024 Olympics!" the voice behind Snacklator wrote on the post. They added, "I love watching them and will chow down some Reese's Medals when the USA wins with pride and delight."

The outside of the packaging shown on the Instagram photo shows lines carved into the candy, so it better resembles an Olympic medal than if the chocolate coating was all smooth.

One person jokingly wrote, "Someone's going to bite into this and file a lawsuit because it's not an actual 'medal,'" Another person shared that they saw them at their local Walmart.
