What is Your Favorite Christmas Classic?

A Nightmare Before Christmas Movie Stills. A Favorite Christmas Classic

Decked out in his new Santa Claus outfit, Jack Skellington, the ruler of Halloweentown, delivers a very different version of Christmas to the real world in Touchstone Pictures animated film, “Tim Burton’s A Nightmare Before Christmas,” which will be returning to the big screen for the first time in seven years. What is your favorite Christmas Classic on TV?  For me, there can be no debate!  It is the 1964 stop-motion animation "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer."  When I was a kid, seeing Rudolph's red nose cut through the fog to save the the toys on the Island of Misfit Toys gave me chills of excitement. (Spoiler Alert!). And Santa and his reindeer flying through the clouds at the end gave me a shot of adrenaline so big I could never sleep afterward.  Although, I was concerned for the misfit toys as Santa dropped them one by one out of the sky to their new homes.  Surely, the umbrellas he gave them were as good as parachutes, right?

FAVORITE CHRISTMAS CLASSIC

Whether you liked "Rudolph," "A Year Without A Santa Clause," "It's a Wonderful Life," "Elf," "Christmas Vacation," "Frosty," "White Christmas," or any other show, they've all become a part of our holiday traditions.  Just don't get hooked on the Hallmark Channel!  LOL.

Below is a quiz to see how well you remember your favorites.  Enjoy!  And, to all of our listeners of Craig Shemon and Company at ESPN Southwest Florida, Merry Christmas and have a wonderful new year!
