Florida Man Accidentally Catches 12ft Hammerhead Shark, Guides It Back To Sea By It’s Snout
Florida Man has certainly lost his mind on this one. South Florida fisherman Brandon Griffin, who goes by Juno Brandon on his socials posts a lot of fishing content. But this one is just straight crazy. In a video posted earlier this week, Brandon shows off his latest catch - a 12 foot hammerhead shark. Reeling in a hammerhead is strictly a no-no, most of the species of hammerhead sharks are classified as Critically Endangered, Endangered, or Vulnerable. So he did what any good Florida Man would do. He helped the shark back out to sea.
You can watch the whole video if you want. It's at 5 minutes when it gets real interesting. Brandon guides the shark by it's snout and leads it back to open waters.
His hand in mere inches away from those hammerhead shark teeth.
One big thrash and it's all over. It seems completely nuts, but that's actually textbook on the way to do it. Brandon knows what he's doing. Without help, that hammerhead shark survival odds that close to the shore are questionable. He may not have meant to hook that shark, but he did what was needed to protect it's life. Earlier this year, as posted on his TikTok, Brandon dealt with a much more aggressive species - the bull shark. And he did it from a kayak.
Lol at the guy yelling "Shark!". I think he knows. Juno Brandon, you are a true Florida Man. You have no fear whatsoever.
My Favorite Waffle House Fight Video Dropped One Year Ago Today
What's with Waffle House lately? I keep looking, but we're not seeing any really good fight scenes. Now to be clear, I'm not looking for people to get hurt, but I miss the craziness. Last month in Virginia a woman got shot, but there's no video of the fight. Also, like I said, we're not looking for people to get hurt. Just Waffle House fight video craziness. Especially Florida Waffle House craziness - my favorite.
So what's My Favorite Waffle House Fight Video?
Before we get to that, maybe here's some insight on why we've seeing less fight videos. The Waffle House employees are fed up. Not just with the fights, but with their situation. They want $25/hr, pay, security in all stores, an end to mandatory meal deductions. The third demand is the one that caught me. So they have to pay for a meal whether or not they eat at the restaurant? I've worked at many restaurants and pizza places and I don't recall ever paying for a meal. Sure, there were some hard nosed bosses that said you needed to pay for food, but we always found a way around that. At Waffle House it's automatically taken from your check.
So maybe there's some compassion for the employees right now. They really do go through a lot. So I'll put my favorite Waffle House fight video below. And no one got hurt in the video. If you're at work, watch the sound. There's a LOT of words in these videos that could get you in trouble with HR.
First, since it's the holiday season, let's check some of the runner-ups.
Waffle House is undefeated
This is from an Orlando, Florida Waffle House. This woman was acting up, so an employee carried her out of the store. She happened to be upside down. I don't know what happened, but I'm on the employees side.
The chair throw
This one happened in Georgia last Christmas. Or was it Texas? I don't remember. We've all seen the chair throw and catch, but have you seen the mayhem that led up to it? This one was nuts, but not my favorite.
Restaurant destruction
Here's a more recent one, posted last summer. This fight seemed to be more about destroying the Waffle House than throwing hands. Maybe WH employees do deserve $25 an hour.
My favorite - Jacksonville Florida
Nothing sums up a Waffle House fight quite like this guy. As the fight rages on, he puts his focus on the food. It's not about him - and he don't care. I love that.
