Dallas Cowboys at Home are Dangerous

Dallas Cowboys at Home are Dangerous

The Dallas Cowboys hold the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football this week. Not only is it the next chapter in one of the league's best rivalries, but we also get to watch the Cowboys at home. And the Dallas Cowboys at home are dangerous. The Dallas Cowboys are on a 14-game winning streak at AT&T Stadium, which is the best home winning streak in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys at home are dangerous because of the offense. Dallas is averaging 41 points per game at home this year and have scored 40 or more in 4 straight home games. No NFL team has ever scored 40 or more in 5 consecutive home games. The Cowboys are averaging 36.6 points per game during their 14-game home win streak.

Dak Prescott

Dak Prescott is playing the best football of his career right now. Dak leads the league with 26 passing touchdowns while completing over 70% of his passes. That only trails Brock Purdy out of all the quarterbacks with 60 or more attempts. He has six straight game with at leas 2 passing touchdowns. And He's thrown for at least 3 touchdown passes in each of his last four games against the Eagles. Mesh those stats for Dak with the Eagles allowing 27 passing touchdowns this season (31st in the NFL), and it's tough to see the Cowboys offense stalling on Sunday night. I feel like I'm starting to pile on Eagles fans at this point. But Dak Prescott is 5-1 at home against the Eagles in his career.

Jalen Hurts

As good as Dak has been this year, Jalen Hurts has been equally as bad when playing in Dallas. Jalen Hurts has never beat the Cowboys in Dallas. He is 0-2 because he missed the game last year with an injury. Jalen Hurts against the Cowboys in Philadelphia has been good. 2-0 with a 67% completion percentage, 4 TD to 0 INT, and a QBR of 61. In Dallas those numbers drop to 3 TD 4INT and a QBR of 14.  It feels like we are in for a classic Sunday Night as the Eagles and Cowboys meet on primetime for the 30th time in their series. That's the most primetime matchups of any two teams in league history.
