We all know how big of a star Taylor Swift is and her Eras Tour is responsible for a hike in home prices in one Florida city.

Of course the coverage of her relationship with Travis Kelce has completely blown up. She was also named one of People Magazine's list of the 25 Most Intriguing People of 2023. Her Eras Tour is the highest-grossing tour ever by a woman and is on track to become the highest-grossing overall. The Wall Street Journal even called Swift's financial impact "Taylornomics," while Fortune called it the "TSwift Lift". The Federal Reserve even gave her credit for giving America's economy a good boost.

Who knew that music could affect not only your mood, but also real estate prices. Architectural Digest surveyed 1,000 fans who attended the first leg of the Eras Tour in the U.S. about their concert expenses and tour experiences. They also used data from Redfin comparing home prices before and after the tour came to each city. The analysis revealed that home prices rose an average of 2.1 percent in every city where Taylor performed.

Taylor Swift came to Florida and visited Tampa with her Eras Tour in April 2023. Tampa experienced the 2nd biggest real estate bump at 8.2%, behind Atlanta which saw 8.8%. 1 in 5 Swifties who traveled to Tampa to see her in concert said that because of their experience, they'd be interested in moving there.

The factors included the economics of dating and the amount of fun and recreation available to even create a date. In addition, they factored in opportunity. Dating opportunities include things like gender balance and the percentage of population that is single versus in a relationship. They also look at dating apps.
