Human Skull Found In North Fort Myers Thrift Store

Skulls, pumpkins, spider webs..all fun Halloween decorations, but a real human skull was found in a North Fort Myers thrift store.

Can you imagine casually strolling the aisles at a thrift store searching for treasures and come upon a human skull? That's exactly what happened on Saturday at a store on North Cleveland Avenue in North Fort Myers. Yes, laying out among other Halloween decor was a skull. I imagine plenty of people walked by just thinking it was another piece of decor. However, this one looked pretty real. And it was.

Wouldn't you know that there was an anthropologist there shopping who noticed it right away. While I'm not sure if I saw it I would think anything of it, a scientist with experience in this area knew immediately that it was the skull of a human. According to a post on the Lee County Sheriff's Facebook page, detectives were called and came to the store to pick it up and when they arrived, they agreed that the skull appeared to be that of a human and it was sent to the Medical Examiner's Office.

Police say that according to the store owner, the skull was found in a storage unit. Even though this is a strange find, the Lee County Sheriff's Office does not believe it's suspicious.

The best season has finally been in full effect- spooky season. His family includes his is son Danny who experiences psychic premonitions. As Jack's writing goes nowhere and Danny's visions become more disturbing, Jack discovers the hotel's dark secrets and begins to unravel into a homicidal maniac episode.

The plot revolves around a father and a mother who struggle to survive and raise their children in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by blind extraterrestrial creatures with an amazing sense of hearing. I remember watching this movie when it premiered and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It is a definite must watch.

From the one and only Stephen King, IT places in fourth place. This movie is based in the summer of 1989, a group of bullied kids stick together to destroy a shape-shifting monster, which disguises itself as a clown and preys on children.

Scream is a classic American murder mystery and slasher. This franchise includes six films and television shows. The first classic movie of the franchise placed in 5th place. With a star-studded cast, the original movie will forever hold a spot in my horror movie rotations.
