Florida: The Savannah Bananas Are Coming To Tampa

Dakota "Stilts" Albritton #14 of the Savannah Bananas pitches against the Party Animals at Grayson Stadium. The Savannah Bananas are coming to Tampa Florida next year.

It's time to mark February 8, 9, and 10 on your calendars. The Savannah Bananas released their 2024 Bananaball tour schedule last night, and they will be coming to Tampa in a few short months.

"Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls, and Potassium Enthusiasts from around the world... this is the Greatest Tour Schedule in Sports," the Savannah Bananas posted in their tour announcement.

In Tampa, the Savannah Bananas will take over George M. Steinbrenner Field for three days starting on Thursday, February 8. In fact, these dates are the official start of their 2024 tour across the country. Each series game will feature the Bananas taking on their traveling rival, the Party Animals.

How To Score Tickets

Here is what you need to know. Tickets historically sell out incredibly fast. So, the Savannah Bananas have detailed specific instructions to prepare to make sure you have a fair chance at scoring tickets. Fans interested in attending must visit thesavannahbananas.com/tickets to enter the ticket lottery list to purchase tickets.

“These aren’t your typical tickets,” the organization states. To start, tickets are affordable at $35 apiece. There are no taxes or surprise fees on top of that price.

Entering the lottery does not guarantee you have secured tickets. “A random drawing will take place about two months before the event,” the Savannah Bananas explain. If your name is selected, you then have the chance to purchase tickets to the event in your city. Finally, the ticket lottery closes on December 1, 2023. If you have not entered by then, you will lose your chance to have your name drawn for tickets.

What Else?

There have been hints about new Banana Ball experiences that will take place during next year’s tour and games. On the official Instagram announcement last month, new teams, special appearances, and new rules were among the teasers that may be part of the Savannah Bananas Tampa 2024 experience.
