The experts at Boohoo say #barbieoutfits has surpassed 56.5 million on TikTok alone. On Pinterest, similar searches have increased by 614% worldwide over this same time last year. And as far as part of the country with the most interest in Barbie outfits, Florida is in the top ten. Illinois has the most searches followed by Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama, Maryland, Mississippi, Delaware, New York, Florida and South Carolina. Funny how the Barbie search is so popular in southern states. I love these AI photos of a granny Barbie. She totally looks like a retired southern bell.

Barbie inspired fashion

Like it or not, Barbie fashion has to have a splash of pink. It's a color that might not suit everyone. However, it can if you pick the right shade. Boohoo experts say if you have warmer or more golden undertones, opt for pinks with a yellow undertone. Think shades that are more coppers, rose golds, peachy-toned pinks and corals. These colors will better highlight your complexion.  If you have a cool or blueish undertone, try magentas, plummy pinks and fuchsias.

Margot Robbie is stunning at the "Barbie" European Premiere at Cineworld Leicester Square in London. THIS is a Barbie outfilt!

Finally, here are a few more items that top the list of searches, and that are essential to Barbie's wardrobe. Barbie inspired fashion is trending in Florida and around the world. It's fun, flirty something to get you through the summer doldrums. Jump on the bandwagon with these tips and tricks.

Pink Cowboy Hat

These hats are a big hit. Barbie has been seen wearing the accessory with a pink Western themed two-piece outfit. Pinterest searches for ‘cowboy hat’ have risen 122% in the past year while searches for ‘pink cowboy hat’ have soared 233% in the three months. WOW...check these out.

Perfect Handbag

Having a handbag in every color is so Barbie. However, it's not always practical. Our fashion experts advise these staples at the very least; one white, one black and or course, one pink bag. A statement bag is always good to have as well. One that has bling, hardware or a great pattern. Check these out!

Statement Shoes

Shoes can make or break an outfit. While high heels are a signature, they are not the only thing Barbie wears. There are some new trainers out with a Barbie theme. Consider buying ones with a platform to add height and elongate legs.  Strappy sandals are good with playful summer dresses, long flowy skirts and denim shorts with a pair of tie-up or slip-on sandals.

Cowboy boots and Western-style boots are everywhere this summer, so finding the perfect pair when there are so many options is challenging. If you want to style these boots for an event such as a festival or party, try solid colors or play with metallics to stand out, just like Barbie.

Textures and Fabrics

Don't play it safe here. Feathers are a great way to jazz up any outfit. You could style a feathery top with your favorite jeans or trousers. Or pair a feathery mini skirt with a minimal top if you are going to a fun concert. Ruffles are very in this season. Layered rah-rah skirts are perfect, or those with a bit of volume look great paired with a denim jacket or cowboy boots for a festival look.

No wardrobe is complete without a splash of denim. Whether in the form of a dress, dungarees, jeans or a skirt, denim is a fabric staple. If you want to branch out and cover all basis of the material, try dark denim in indigo or navy, which will add an editorial feel to an outfit. Do not be afraid to play with contrast denim and shades of denim that complement each other; double denim is fashionable when done correctly.
