We all know QVC as a home shopping network, but now they've made a Christmas movie that looks so bad, but tastes so good.
We all know how popular the Hallmark movies are this time of year. Maybe you love them, maybe you hate them. I'm not a huge fan of rom-com's in general, so most of the Christmas movies to me are WAY too cheesy and predictable. But hey, that's what some people watch them for. It must be a lucrative business if other companies are getting in on the action. Enter QVC.
You probably didn't know this, I definitely didn't, but QVC has a free streaming service called QVC+. Their very first Christmas movie will premiere next Thursday, on Thanksgiving.
The movie is called "Holly & the Hot Chocolate" and it looks bad. Like really bad. The plot? A food critic has car trouble and is saved by a cranky tow truck driver and fall in love...in a town where a guy sells hot chocolate. I can't...
One of QVC's chef's, David Venable, the host of "In the Kitchen with David" is in the movie. He plays the hot chocolate vendor. And in true QVC fashion, that special hot chocolate will be for sale after the movie premieres.
You can check out the trailer here (and it's bad, so bad)
Universal Studios Announces BOGO Deal For Florida Residents
Just in time for the holidays Universal Studios has announced a BOGO ticket deal for Florida residents.
We all have those hard to buy for people on our Christmas shopping list, but one thing I think everyone would love are Universal tickets! Now through January 26th, Florida residents who buy a 2-park one-day park-to-park ticket online will get a second day free! This deal is online only, so keep that in mind, but it will save you $179 so it's totally worth it.
You can use the ticket on non-consecutive days through January. There are some blackout dates November 21-26 and December 22-January 2.
If you purchase the Universal Studios BOGO deal, you will need to prove that you're a Florida resident when you purchase your tickets, when you pick them up and again when you redeem them. To buy your tickets now, click here
