Netflix Series “Love Is Blind” Is Casting In Tampa

If you've been striking out dating the conventional way, Netflix series Love is Blind is casting in Tampa.

I've never seen this show, but I have friends who don't miss a single episode. In fact, the other day a girlfriend of mine told me that if only they came to Florida that she would sign up to audition! And now, it's happening!

If you like shows like The Bachelor and Married at First Sight and can picture yourself in the mix as you watch them, then this is right up your alley. The premise of Love is Blind is that you find love without seeing the other person. For 10 days, the men and women "date" each other in these pods where they can talk to each other, but not see each other. The couple only meets face to face is a marriage proposal is accepted.

Now, I'm sorry, but getting proposed to after 10 days is just crazy. That's not to say they get married right away. They do go to a couples' retreat after they're engaged to get to know each other and eventually move in together, but c'mon. Although, as a girl that's been single for a while, maybe I shouldn't knock it 'til I try it.

The Tampa casting was announced in an Instagram post with a link to a website where you can apply. When you're there, you'll fill out a 69-question application. It asks a variety of questions about things like hobbies, dating history, etc. so they can match you potential partners. You can also submit a video explaining why you'd be a good fit for the show. Not only is Love is Blind casting in Tampa, but in Charlotte, Washington D.C. and Detroit as well.

The big news of the weekend is that Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have officially ended their marriage. Now, there's a lot of speculation as to who Tom Brady will date next.

They each issued statements on Friday saying all the things you'd expect out of a high profile divorce. It was amicable, they grew apart, they wish each other the best and will continue to do what's best for the kids.

There have been plenty of rumors going around as to what led to the split. It seems the one we've heard the most has to do with Tom retiring, unretiring and returning to the NFL. Is it true? Who knows, but until a better reason presents itself, it makes sense.

It's only right that in the sports world where plenty of bets are made, that oddsmakers are now placing bets as to who Tom Brady will pursue in the future. Will it be another supermodel? A musician? A Hollywood star?

But she is so pretty, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw them together one day. A few sports figures made the list as well with a skier and a tennis player.
