Dolphins injury Update

Dolphins Injury Update

The Miami Dolphins have crashed since beating the Buffalo Bills in week 3. Road losses to Cincinnati and the Jets have dropped the Fins back into the middle of the pack in the AFC. And the injuries are now starting to pile up. Mike McDaniel provided a Dolphins injury update on Wednesday. Tua will start throwing the football on Wednesday, and Teddy Bridgewater is still questionable ahead of the Vikings game. Skyler Thompson will be the teams starter Sunday against the Vikings. He should look better with a full week knowing he'll be the guy under Center. Hopefully McDaniel can come up with a solid game plan.

What About the Rest of the Team?

So the Quarterbacks are hurt. What about the rest of the team? The team is hopeful that WR Tyreek Hill will be able to play this weekend. Hill was seen in a walking boot after last week's loss. Hill was a huge safety valve for Thompson last weekend. he caught all 7 of his targets, and was one of the few bright spots for the team. There hasn't been much of an update surrounding CB Bryon Jones. He is still on IR and can't play until activated. On the other side of the defense, Xavien Howard is still listed as questionable with a groin injury. Hill However Mike McDaniel told reporters that both X and Hill are scheduled to practice on Wednesday.

This is an Opportunity

Some more players that left last week's game with injuries include OT Terron Armstead and TE Durham Smythe are still listed as questionable on ESPN.com. McDaniel told reporters that Armstead will not practice on Wednesday as he deals with his toe injury. There's no doubt that the Fins have been hit hard by the injury bug. But this is the NFL and every single team deals with injuries. Nobody is going to feel bad for you. I want to see the Dolphins show some fight this weekend against a really good Vikings offense and a pretty bad defense. This is an opportunity to bounce back and get a spark back in the organization.
