This weekend Tampa Bay Comic Con took over the Tampa Convention Center with 3 days of celebrities, vendors, and all things comic, cosplay, fantasy and more.
It was the first time I went to any sort of comic convention, so it was quite an experience. There were vendors for just about anything you could possibly want from art work to comics to props and seeing so many people dressed up and getting into full character was really cool.
There were a lot of celebrities there as well from William Shatner, Dean Cain, Jason David Frank, James "Murr" Murray from Impractical Jokers, stars from Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and more. There were autograph and photo ops that could be bought, but I was content just being able to see them as I walked by. There were also some authors and comic book creators, some even doing drawings during the convention. They had panels, a cosplay contest, gaming rooms and a room for live action role playing as well.
Parking was super convenient and ticketing inside the convention center was very organized and the lines went quick. Even for someone who's maybe not into comic books, but into sci-fi/fantasy would definitely enjoy it, I recommend checking it out next year!
