Calgary Flame’s Milan Lucic Boards The S*** Out Of Edmonton Goalie – Brawl Ensues

Milan Lucic

This is playoff hockey and tempers have been flaring. Edmonton was up 4-0 over Calgary in the 3rd period and it looks like Milan Lucic goes by the old hockey adage "down by 4 - start a war", that's exactly what happened.

For the hit, Lucic got a five-minute major for charging and a 10-minute game misconduct. This was in the third period, so he was done for the night. Edmonton Oilers goalie Mike Smith left the game for concussion protocol, but returned to the game. Here's another look at the hit.

It actually looks like he tried to pull up, but it was too late. If Lucic would have lowered his shoulder, he could have absolutely destroyed Mike Smith. And the penalty would have likely been the same. My take? No Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup since Montreal in 1993 so I see this "playoff game" as a mere exhibition anyway.  USA!

It's a rainy Florida weekend and you're stuck with the same dilemma. Can’t decide which pizza to order for pizza night. My go-to is a frozen pizza from Aldi's that I add cheese and other toppings, but there are times when I want something fresh and delivered. I go for a classic cheese with pepperoni though. Pretty much every time!

It doesn’t matter if you like your pizza thin, crispy, thick, crusty, or full of sauce, everyone has a favorite. TOP Agency recently released a report indicating that each state has a different preference for pizza. What is the number one preference in 2022 for Florida? Let us find out!

The 2022 Pizza Consumption Index, a study of the pizza preferences and eating habits of more than 12M U.S. adults, says Little Caesars is the most popular pizza chain in the country. 16 states chose Little Caesar's as their current go-to. It's possible that Little Caesar's low price is attracting a bigger crowd since inflation is taking such a big bite out of everyone's budget. Godfathers and Domino’s came in second and third, respectively. Here is a breakdown of the top 5 spots for a slice (or two or three?) of pizza in Florida. Florida’s pizza preference for 2022 actually surprised me. I thought we'd follow the trend and choose Little Caesar's, but as you'll see, they are all the way down at number 4.

It's a rainy Friday and a perfect time to order in. Here's the top 5 pizza chains in Florida.

5. Marco's Pizza

We only have a few locations here in SWFL so I rarely have Marcos. I do like the way their pepperonis curl up and form little bowls.

4. Little Caesars

I've picked up many of these pies from the San Carlos park location.

3. Domino's

Pretty standard. I don't know anyone who doesn't like Domino's.

2. Papa Murphy's

This totally blows, since they closed our locations. I like PM pizza.

1. Papa John's

I wouldn't have guessed this, but thinking about it, whenever someone brings a LOT of pizzas it's always Papa John's. I have a story, too.
