Dolphins DB Jevon Holland Saw A South Florida Frog So Big He Thought It Was An Alligator

Jevon Holland

Second year Miami Dolphins safety Jevon Holland was talking with Miami media today when he shared this story of when he first got to Miami last year. Now before we judge him, keep in mind that he's from Canada. He went to high school in Pleasanton California, just outside of San Francisco. Then he played college ball in Oregon. So he had no idea about the creatures that inhabit South Florida. If you believe what you see on tv, you'd think that there's alligators on every corner. Which makes this so much funnier.

I think I've seen one of the frogs that scared Jevon Holland. Last weekend here in Estero when it was raining, my cat was just staring at the front door. Glanced through the peephole and saw nothing so I decided to open the door to show him nothing was there. There was a frog the size of my hand sitting there staring back at us. Scared the hell out of me. I've been here 20 years and those giant frogs can still shock me. I can't image what it was like to be a 21 year old from Canada out on a morning jog in Miami.

Last night, the Baltimore Ravens took Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton in their first pick of the draft.  There's a lot of ways you can celebrate when you get drafted, but this girl - Reese.

Let me tell you Kyle - she's a keeper.

Too clean
