Sport’s Illustrated Swimsuit Model Maggie Rawlins Has Gone To Poland To Provide Aid For Ukrainian Refugees
A true angel, model Maggie Rawlins has gone to Poland to help with the refugees from the war in Ukraine. Maggie isn't just a model, she's a registered nurse. That's actually what her dream was before her modeling took off. According to the New York Post, "Rawlins was working as a hematology-oncology nurse when a Miami modeling agency reached out to her through Instagram." She's scored modeling gigs from Victoria's Secret and others from there and even appeared in the 2021 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. Barstool Sports is now reporting that she is in Poland, assisting refugees displaced by the war in Ukraine. A facebook post shows she's actually near the border of Poland - Ukraine.
That's a tremendous shift, going from modeling to triage work near a war zone. I admire the hell out of this. Maggie's life is a lot more interesting than mine, and she's willing to put it on hold to help out others. Be safe over there.
And this isn't the first time she's placed herself directly in harm's way. She was a frontline nurse during the COVID outbreak in New York.
