Back in 2018 when the YouTube personalities of Jake and Logan Paul announced they'd be fighting another set of YouTube personalities, it was funny. An obvious stunt by internet entertainers to drum up some buzz and farm clicks. Little did we know that 3 years later, they'd be facing actual boxers in the ring and considered professionals at that.
Jake Paul, the younger of the Paul brothers, is even undefeated at this point in his career. Despite being referred to as his professional boxing career on Wikipedia, the first couple of matches were against other amateurs. Jake Paul fought another YouTube personality, AnEsonGib, who he defeated. He went up against professional basketball player Nate Robinson and won as well.
Paul's next two fights would be against actual fighters, starting with former Bellator MMA and ONE Welterweight Champion Ben Askren, just this past March. Surprisingly, Paul won by TKO in the first two minutes of Round 1. Maybe there's more to this YouTuber than meets the eye?
Fast forward to the present and Jake Paul just put up his 5th win against Tyron Woodley, but this match went the distance with Paul winning by split decision. A few people were upset by the result, most of all Tyron Woodley (Floyd Mayweather agrees with him, by the way).
Tyron is looking to get a rematch with Jake Paul, but the YouTube star said the only way he's getting a rematch is if Woodley gets "I <3 Jake Paul" tattooed on his body.
