5 Fun Mother’s Day Activity Ideas in Southwest Florida

Want to take your mom out to do something fun this Mother's Day? We've put together a few ideas that you can do right here in Southwest Florida.

The pandemic may have kept you from celebrating that special person in your life last year, but now you might be able to take your mom out for some fun while following COVID-19 safety guidelines.

There are a couple of cute tea houses in Southwest Florida that are just perfect! It's the perfect excuse to dress up and enjoy a nice brunch, good chat, and tea with mom. While you're there, don't forget to take a few classy Instagram pics.

Check out Wisteria Tea Room & Cafe or Forever Fiore Tea House to make a reservation before Mother's Day. Both are located in Fort Myers.

If you're in Naples, you can check out Brambles English Tearoom & Giftshop.

Enjoy some quality time with mom and get creative with a little paint and wine! Painting with a Twist has a location in Fort Myers and Port Charlotte.

You could also enjoy a good DIY project with mom at AR Workshop, where you can choose your design, projects, and paint colors. There is a location in Naples and Fort Myers.

Go outdoors and get some fresh air with mom this year. There are plenty of beautiful parks in our area where you can do anything from a nice picnic, go on a bicycle ride, explore some new trails, kayak, etc.

You can explore the Estero River and rent kayaks at Estero River Outfitters. The scenery is amazing!

Of course, we saved the best for last - take her to the beach! We do live in Southwest Florida after all. We are known as the land of gorgeous and awe-inspiring sunsets.

Grab some snacks, drinks, a blanket, and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Or get there earlier in the day to collect shells.
