Another day, another NBA record for King James.

During Thursday's win over the Denver Nuggets, Lakers superstar LeBron James passed NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain for third place on the NBA's all-time field goal list (12,682).

Karl Malone holds second place on the list, while Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the all-time leader (15,837).

LeBron averages about 735 made field goals per season. So if he maintains his current pace, he could pass Malone towards the end of next season and then need another three seasons or so to catch Kareem.
