Ninja Finally Returns To Twitch

Ninja Streaming

Nearly three months after Mixer's closure, popular superstar streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins has finally found his home. Ninja got started his career on Twitch but left the platform for the now-defunct Microsoft owned Mixer for a reported $20 to $30 million dollar deal alongside popular FPS streamer Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek. Since Mixer closed down Shroud has returned to Twitch and Ninja has been shopping around. He had one return stream on Twitch and another on YouTube, However, Ninja finally returns to Twitch, his first true home.

Facebook Gaming reportedly offered Ninja a $60 million deal to swap from Mixer to their platform and which he turned down. Since then, people have wondered exactly what the streamer had planned. Was he holding out and negotiating among all the platforms for the biggest payday? After streaming on both Twitch and YouTube, was he planning on using both platforms to climb even higher into the gaming stratosphere? He did make some comments last month about wanting to break into Hollywood. He said he'd do it all voice-overs, TV and movies.

But it seems Ninja has finally made a choice. The wait is over, Ninja finally returns to Twitch. Earlier today, sporting a brand new hairdo both Ninja and the official Twitch account shared a short video dedicated to new beginnings. Currently, there are no rumblings of just how much this new deal is worth. We can promise though that it's going to be massive. Shroud was able to break over half of a million concurrent viewers when he first returned to Twitch. Though this isn't technically Ninja's first stream back since the break it is likely to draw a lot of eyeballs. Knowing Ninja, this probably isn't the end either, so keep your eyes peeled for the next big move.
